I’ve told you that I’m obsessed with any and all things banana in the past, so I’m not even going to get into that now.

Other than the fact that I love it in all desserts such as cake, cookies, pie, bars and more. You really can’t go wrong with banana.

This Banana Cream Pie Dip takes your favorite pie flavor and turns it into the creamy deliciousness that you can dip with all of your favorite things.

This is also super easy to throw together and is great for gatherings such as parties, picnics, holidays and more.

Dessert dips are one of my favorite “appetizer desserts” if you could say that, they are just fun and everyone seems to love them.

If you are looking for something tasty to bring to your next gathering, I suggest this Banana Cream Pie Dip.

Some of my favorite banana recipes that we have on our site include: Banana Cupcakes, Banana Cookies and No Bake Banana Cheesecake Bars.

WHAT CAN I USE TO DIP IN THIS?

This is what I love about dessert dips is that there is a variety of things that you can use as dippers. Some include:

  1. Vanilla Wafers
  2. Shortbread Cookies
  3. Pretzels
  4. Graham Crackers
  5. Bananas
  6. Oreos
  7. Chocolate
  8. Various Fruit

Really whatever you think would taste amazing dipped in this Banana Cream Pie Dip, I say go for it!

CAN I MAKE THIS AHEAD OF TIME?

Absolutely, this is great to make a few hours or up to 24 hours ahead of time. Just mix everything together and refrigerate.

Make sure you do not top with the garnishes until you are ready to serve as the bananas will brown and the vanilla wafers will get soggy.

CAN I TOP THIS WITH ANYTHING ELSE?

Yes! If you want to make it more like banana pudding, you can spread a layer of whipped topping over the top.

You can also top with a drizzle of caramel, some coconut, mini chocolate chips, chocolate shavings, etc.

DOES THIS NEED TO CHILL?

This can be served right away, but if you want it a little thicker than I would at least chill it for 1 hour before serving.

HOW TO STORE:

This can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container where it will keep for up to 4-5 days.

We have not attempted to freeze this dip so I do not know how it would turn out.

TIPS AND TRICKS:

  • Make sure you are using instant pudding and not cook and serve.
  • Your cream cheese needs to be softened.
  • Other things can be added to the top of this dip, see above for ideas.
  • We have not tried to freeze this recipe so we do not know how it would hold up.
